OBITUARIES- Gone yet not forgotten
Jan White
17/7/1960 - 19/2/26

Both Sue and I were saddened to by the passing of Jan. We joined the Club the year after Jan & Alan and the boys so have grown up, within the club, with them. They were active members with Jan quietly beavering away in the background.
Her cheeky smile remained even in the latter years as her health deteriorated.
Her passing, caused by the rare Alexander’s disease, whilst inevitable was neverthelesss devastating.
Bill Witten

Bill was an honorary member having joined the club in January 1989. By the time we met him they had become stalwarts of the club as Newsletter Editor – the old-fashioned way. He was involved in running a joint maneuverability rally with Swift owners where he brought along his computer to assist with the scoring – then that was a big deal.
Our thoughts are with Jan and the family.
Valerie Harris

`
Valerie and Neil joined the club back in 1999 and quickly became active members. They ran rallies and represented the Club on the NEC Bailey stand. Sadly, some two years ago she was diagnosed with MND and Neil became her sole carer. I am sure you will have seen the publicity given to this disease which seems to come on quite quickly with devasting results.
They continued to keep in contact with the Club; at their “last rally” they stayed in accommodation at Whitemead, joining the rally’s activities when they could. Having been rushed into hospital she asked to see Rona and Danno. She passed away late in the afternoon on 17thSeptember.
Our thoughts are with Neil.
